Each moment contained one of the nine products from the new “Gifting” collection. And all assets lived across, PR, Paid and Organic SoMe, Print, E-Com and In-store. It was a gifting campaign that could live on beyond Christmas, and in multiple countries around the globe, and so it did.

AIRBNB MADE POSSIBLE BY HOSTS / ART DIRECTOR & DESIGNERW/ DROGA5 NYC x Airbnb Creative
In a time when the world was closing in on itself, and travel was becoming more uncertain, Airbnb gave us the unique opportunity to get back out into the world.
Our global campaign, celebrated the possibilities of life again by showcasing evocative photos of real stays. And because sharing a home with someone else is such a generous gift, we chose to thank the hosts who made it possible with a new tagline.
During Droga’s partnership with the brand, they worked with famed editor Jim Helton to create over 40 films featuring real stays and briefed over a hundred photographers, including Christopher Anderson, Magdalena Wosinska and Sophie Green.
I was asked to come up with Art Direction and Design for the campaign. Working with several Photographers and Contact Sheets inspired the final outcome.

To create more engagement we presented ideas to tease the launch around Canada in stores and more local rural areas where the athlete grew up through a concept we called FIRST FEEL.
Once the opening ceremony aired, we released a :60 and longform celebrating Canada as a mosaic of different landscapes, cultures, perspectives and walks of life. The films featured our athletes, everyday people and the people of Saugeen First Nations.
A soundscape of well-known Canadian voices—including David Suzuki, Catherine O’Hara, Kardinal Offishall, k.d. lang, Sarah Polley, Susan Aglukark and Leonard Cohen—form the audio backdrop, making a fresh, modern, head-turning statement about their home, one that defies stereotypes and cliches.
On social, we included individual athlete stories, each touching on feelings of resilience, pride, courage and connection.
Films and all content was produced by Creative Director Marybeth Ledesma and the team at DROGA5. Concept, Ideas and Art Direcion collaboration with Emily Chang before leaving NYC.
